Rhapsody in Lusane

Thea Curtis is a musician and composer based in Denver, Colorado. They recently obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from BYU Hawaii, and is currently in the process of preparing
for a master’s degree in Film and Video Game Composition. Thea has taken part in many
different performing ensembles, Including Utah Tech University’s Raging Red Show Choir,
BYU Hawai’i’s Ho’olokahi Chamber Choir and BYU Hawai’i’s Studio Orchestra, playing
Baritone Saxophone. In the Summer of 2022, they auditioned for and took part in the Nauvoo
Performing Missionaries for a season. They are currently taking on 3 different vocal students,
and plan to expand vocal and instrumental teaching into a stable career. Thea Curtis composes a variety of
things, ranging from a Storyteller-esque Debut album inspired by the likes of Bo Burnham, to the
soundtrack of a Sci-Fi themed Tabletop RPG set in a Fantasy World. In their spare time, Thea
loves playing and analyzing the plot and soundtrack of video games, as well as exploring the
different mediums of art and the possibilities of medium hybridization.
